MASTERS OF STYLE

The SOCAL ORIGINALS - MASTERS OF STYLE art show was a groundbreaking event, showcasing the immense influence of the California Locos brand in the realm of West Coast culture. This extraordinary exhibition brought together a diverse assembly of renowned artists, including iconic figures like Chaz Bojórquez, Shepard Fairey, Retna, Mister Cartoon, Robert Williams, John Van Hamersveld, OG Slick, and many more. With Nano Nobrega serving as a co-curator and producer, the show not only featured his distinctive and limited skateboard collections but also acted as a powerful platform to significantly elevate brand awareness for California Locos.

The Ashes of Hope art show was established with the goal of raising funds to support the families impacted by the devastating Woolsey and Camp fires of 2018. To create a meaningful connection with the affected regions, ashes and charcoal were collected from these areas and transformed into a deep black paint. This unique paint was then utilized by a group of distinguished artists to craft original artworks, which were subsequently offered for sale during a one-night silent auction event in Downtown Los Angeles. The event ensured that 100% of the proceeds were directed towards the Wildfire Relief Fund and the LA Fire Foundation. Nano Nobrega received a personal invitation to collaborate in curating and producing the show, and he brought along the California Locos and its talented original California artists..
